Two defeats and two draws in the past five games for the LA Galaxy sees the side from Carson set to end their season early with any playoff aspirations very much a long shot.

Los Angeles Galaxy, an always ambitious club that currently features talents such as Riqui Puig, Douglas Costa and Chicharito Hernández lie rooted in penultimate place in the Western Conference with only 3 regular league games remaining.

Room to improve

The club have endured a wretched season and early season turmoil and fan boycotts led to president Chris Klein resign at the end of May and hopes that a new chief would lead to a new dawn.

The record five-time MLS Cup winners have failed to make the MLS playoffs in four of the past six seasons and after 14 games this season, the Galaxy had the worst record in MLS with just nine points.
