Circa Sports, the eighth licensed sportsbook in the commonwealth, announced its Kentucky sports betting partnership with ECL Corbin, LLC, at its Cumberland Run harness track.
Kentucky is the fifth state Circa Sports has been awarded a sports betting license. The online sportsbook will be available through the partnership with the Cumberland Run track, as well as its sister satellite gaming and entertainment venue The Mint Gaming Hall Cumberland near Williamsburg.
“We’re happy to partner with Circa Sports mobile betting. We already have a great relationship with Derek and his Las Vegas property, Circa, using their fabulous hotel and unique year-round pool amphitheater Stadium Swim as part of our trip-to-Vegas promotions,” Marc Falcone, co-owner of the ECL Corbin, LLC properties, said in a press release.
Circa Sports Will Be Eighth Live Kentucky Operator

“Circa Sports has experienced tremendous growth since our 2019 launch, and we’re thrilled to introduce our operations to the great Commonwealth of Kentucky,” said Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa Sports, in a release. “We are grateful to our partners at Cumberland Run for bringing this to life and look forward to sharing what the brand has in store for Kentucky.”
The ECL Corbin, LLC properties are owned by a partnership headed by Las Vegas casino veterans Ron Winchell and Falcone, with the Keeneland racetrack in Lexington having a minority stake.
Circa Sports is currently licensed and live in Nevada, Colorado, and Iowa; it’s licensed but not yet live in Illinois and Kentucky.

The commonwealth launched online sports betting less than six months after Gov. Andy Beshear (D) signed the state’s sports betting bill into law. Retail sports betting has been live since Thursday, Sept. 7, with more than $4.5 million already being bet in brick-and-mortar sportsbooks.
Kentucky’s sports betting catalogue currently allows bets on eSports, Japan Nippon Professional Baseball, FIBA sanctioned basketball events, and cycling events sanctioned by the Union Cycliste International.
